Aerodynamic and light. With the Filante SLR, Wilier has achieved a stroke of genius. The combination of low weight and thoroughly tested, low aerodynamic profile leaves nothing to be desired. The Filante SLR is the natural evolution of the Cento10 Pro and is regularly used by pro teams when it comes to mountain stages.
But we mere mortals also benefit from the enormous development effort that Wilier has put into this. Whether in the Alpes d'Huez or in Hadersfeld: the optimized stiffness-to-weight ratio is immediately noticeable. Made for the mountain, but thanks to Aero, the Filaten SLR also feels at home on long straights and rapid descents.
Full cable integration, wind tunnel tested and designed with attention to detail. For example, compared to the Cento10 Pro, the fork has been made 7mm wider to increase the clearance between the tire and the fork. This reduces turbulence in the frontal area and the Filante SLR literally cuts through the air. The shape of the tubes has also been revised and made even more aerodynamic, lighter and stiffer. The result: Incredibly direct handling and a lively driving experience.
