Even if the whole world rolls on wide tires and thus wide rims, there are in our view two areas of application where still moderate wide rims are the best choice: When lightweight construction is required for a particularly climbing-friendly bike, or when aerodynamics should be the main focus. For these applications, we primarily build the VONHAND Road Disc carbon wheelsets! With moderate rim depths of around 3cm for lightweight bikes and rim depths of up to 8cm for TT or triathlon bikes.

- We build all VONHAND wheels with Sapim spokes (CX Ray) and nipples. A set of spokes incl. nipples weighs approx. 230g. All rims used can be used tubeless as well as with tube. Prices do not include: brake discs, thru axle, cassette, tyres, inner tube.
- Before we build the wheel for you, we consult with you in order to match the spoke pattern etc. to your requirements profile and the frameset in which the wheelset will be installed.
- Every VONHAND wheel is therefore a custom-made wheel and excluded from the right of withdrawal according to the Distance Selling Act (FAGG). In this sense, the illustrations are only symbolic photos.
