With a new vulcanisation process, the Vittoria technicians have managed to create a particularly fine bond between cotton and rubber. It is no secret that a cotton carcass is far superior to nylon in terms of speed and comfort. But reliability has long been a problem.

With the new technology, however, Vittoria creates a seamless transition between sidewall and tread, thus ensuring a unique suppleness, unimagined speed, but also better puncture resistance. A protective belt under the tread also contributes to this, as does a reinforcement at the edge of the tyre, which better withstands the high pressure at this point during tubless mounting.
