Switchback Hill Endurance 650c Gravel Tyre - Dark Brown

At 48mm wide, the Switchback Hill is the largest and widest 650B tyre in the René Herse range in diameter and almost matches a 700C x 32 tyre in circumference. Like all RH tyres, it is a 'clincher', a high-end folding tyre - tubeless capable - with the lowest rolling resistance values, excellent grip and legendary comfort.

It is named after a climb on the route of the 580-kilometre Oregon Outback Trail, where the gravel is so coarse in places that the extra 'lift' of the voluminous Switchback Hills enables higher speeds and provides significantly more safety. At the same time, however, from the point of view of its construction and profile, it is a first-class, fast and yet comfortable racing tyre for the road. The Switchback Hill combines both worlds in the best possible way and is therefore also an ideal asphalt and gravel road tyre for 27.5″ inch mountain bikes.
