The ability to effectively layer is an absolute necessity when cycling throughout the winter. The Thermal Long Sleeve Base Layer and its updated collection of colourways provide the ideal foundation for your winter layers.
This base layer has been constructed using the innovative Polartec® Power Wool™ fabric. With a merino wool interior and a synthetic fibre exterior, we have developed a hybrid base layer with a distinct surface, created to optimise moisture control, breathability, and durability. The premium merino wool makes this piece naturally odour resistant while a high-efficiency grid backer traps warm air and aids in moisture transfer for quick drying.
- The base layer is optimised for winter rides in temperatures from -10 to 0 degrees celcius.
- The base layer has a tight fit that gives the best possible comfort and allows you to build extra layers on top of the base layer.
- Insulation is defined as the ability of a fabric to keep you warm and protect you from the cold. The base layer offers excellent insulation properties and is made to keep you warm on the coldest days on the bike.
- Breathability is defined as the ability of a fabric to allow perspiration. The Polartec® Power Wool™ main fabric with wool grid backing is highly breathable while still providing superior insulation.
