That is the GEL. A bold statement, but the truth nonetheless. From a technical point of view, conventional "gels" are syrups - mixtures of water and carbohydrates, often with added flavours and preservatives. GEL 100 is completely different. It is a hydrogel - a biopolymer matrix, with a unique fructose to glucose composition (ratio 0.8 : 1) that allows the tolerable intake of up to 100 grams of carbohydrates per hour.
GEL 100 utilises hydrogel technology and is based on six natural ingredients. It has no colouring or preservatives and is available in 40 g portions containing 60% carbohydrates - a high energy-to-weight ratio.
- USE: Consume gel just before, during or immediately after activity.
- ENERGY CONTENT: Various studies have shown that our body can process up to 90 grams of carbohydrates per hour. One sachet of GEL 100 contains 25 grams of carbohydrates.
