HANZŌ Force AXS Superior TT Bike - Chrome

Do you have to break rules to build a blazing fast bike? Factor says: No! When developing the Hanzō, they explicitly wanted to follow the UCI's new rules to prove that it's possible to build a bike that meets the demands of both the best triathletes and pro tour riders.

Because the UCI reduced the minimum tube diameter from 2.5cm to 1cm, it was possible to make the head tube much narrower, reducing the surface area for wind attack by 60%. What sounds so simple, but was a great challenge, but the stability in the head tube area had to be maintained and the headset and internal cables accommodated.

The bike's fork and rear triangle were designed along the lines of airfoils used on racing yachts. This allows it to better cope with the turbulence generated by the rotating wheels and the athlete's legs. The same principle was applied to the cockpit. However, there was also the requirement that the same be adapted as well as possible to the athlete and the athlete's legs. For this, Factor developed its own extensions, at the same time providing the CAD data to leading aero cockpit producers such as AeroCoach and WattShop.

That all cables lie inside, of course, that a Di2 Junction Box can be accommodated in the frame, also. Factor has thought of everything, including the UCI guidelines. And a lightning fast wheel build!

What is Superior? Our indication that there is more to the wheels than the mere group name would suggest. E.g. better cranks, better wheels and other tuning parts e.g. from CeramicSpeed, Carbon-Ti, etc.

Why Rotor cranks? Because they are lighter and stiffer than comparable parts from either group.

Why VONHAND wheels? Because we can best ensure the quality of the wheels in the self-build and individually combine selected hubs and rims of renowned brands. More performance for the same price!

Why Carbon-Ti and CeramicSpeed? Because these are tuning parts that really make a difference. And not only on the invoice!
