Foundation Gravel AG28 650b Wheelset

The ENVE Foundation AG28 Gravel wheelset is designed for all Gravel applications, from bikepacking to racing.

"AG" stands for "Adventure Gravel" - the guiding principle behind the AG28. As part of ENVE's new Foundation Collection, the new AG28 wheelset brings ENVE's core technologies and features from the ENVE G-Series to riders who seek adventure and ultimately want to ride for fun.

The AG28 is a 650b Gravel wheelset that can accommodate tires up to 57mm, perfectly responding to the wider clearances of modern gravel and adventure bikes. The rim shape itself was developed by ENVE to improve the ride while still providing a confidence-inspiring handling feel.

The AG28 uses ENVE's Wide Hookless Bead to minimize the risk of punctures. The wider leading edge of the rim spreads any impact from debris or potholes over a larger area. This results in a 60+% improvement in resistance to punctures as well as a 30+% improvement in impact resistance.

Molded spoke and valve holes mean that the carbon fibers in the AG28 run uninterrupted through the wheel and are not cut. This results in a stronger, lighter rim structure. Another benefit is that ENVE can control the shape of the rim at the spoke/nipple interface with greater precision.

The AG28 uses the ENVE Foundation Road hub, which uses the core technologies of ENVE's premium aluminum hubs. The hub body is manufactured using a simplified machining process without compromising the flange geometry and stiffness of the wheel. The drive mechanism uses Instant Drive 360 technology and a 40t ratchet to provide responsiveness, minimal drag and low maintenance performance. The bearings are high quality, full contact sealed NTN steel bearings. The mount is centerlock. The AG28 wheelsets are also available with the Industry 1/1 hub upon request.

The AG28 comes with ENVE's Lifetime Incident Protection. This means that ENVE will replace your AG's if you have an accident and the wheels are damaged. ENVE's standard 5-year warranty protects you from any defects in materials and workmanship.
