When a brand that has been building the world’s finest carbon components for years finally unveils its own bike, expectations are high. The Melee lives up to them. A carbon monocoque chassis that brings together everything ENVE has learnt about aerodynamics, weight and build quality – in a frame that feels as though it was always meant to be. Developed in the wind tunnel and using CFD, with tube profiles specifically tailored to ENVE’s SES rim shapes. The result: a frame that isn’t just aerodynamic at 48 km/h, but from as low as 32 km/h – exactly where you spend most of your time. 850 grams in size 56, painted. Geometry optimised for 27–32 mm tyres, with clearance for up to 35 mm if the day demands it. Seven sizes, five different fork rakes – ensuring identical handling across all frame sizes. A T47 threaded bottom bracket for anyone wanting to leave press-fit creaks behind. And yes: mudguard eyelets on an aero road bike. ENVE is serious about versatility. The Melee is sold as a complete chassis – frame, fork, headset, seatpost, stem and handlebars included. The standard two-piece setup consists of the SES AR Handlebar and Integrated Aero Stem; the one-piece SES Aero Pro and SES AR handlebars are available on request. Everything is fully integrated via ENVE’s IN-Route system: cables and hoses disappear into the handlebars and only reappear in the frame.
